I think it is somewhat, all these rumors flying and he isnt looking into. That is what he does right? I am not being sarcastic, just perplexed.

You have sources for this info?

Reason why I'm asking, if RR wants to be a Tiger, he'll most likely be a Tiger.

I know. Im talking about quality information that isnt rumor filled.

The family is tough to get to sometimes and they do not say much. I would be surprised if they were passing out information all day when their son is making his final decision.

These days ware usually the hardest ones to get info.

    Anxiety, anxiety...no!!!!!!!

At least delay your NSD decision lol. /cry

If what was said was true above, about his brother/mom wanting him to go, dad probably will prevail. This was straight from his brother's mouth. He said if his dad ever wanted to take control or want him somewhere, he'd make it clear and do so. Obviously he wasn't doing it then, this might be the case of him doing it now. He may feel he needs to protect his son and doesn't trust LSU's coaching staff. If everything is true about them lying, then LSU has nobody to blame but themselves.

    It has..

    So, now the question is:

What makes this thread last longer.. RR signing with LSU or RR signing with (insert school here)??

FWIW I think we'll be alright regardless, but I think RR will be in an LSU hat before the day's over with tomorrow.

Someone close to the RR family is saying this. I have no link its on tigerdroppings. The person stating this is good for this.

What I don't get is, as someone alluded to earlier, what is the big deal about NEXT year?

If he's good enough, he'll make an impact next year. If he's good at all, he'll have plenty of time to make an impact...yunno, the following year, or even the one after that.

And what other 'lies' is he afraid the staff might tell his son? That we're playing Florida when we're really playing Alabama that week? Or are they going to pull pranks like telling him the wrong plays? Once he gets on campus, his future is in no one's hands but his own. If he's good enough, nothing that anyone says will matter. I think his dad is just mad or feeling jilted because, with even the slightest bit of rational thought being applied, this is very much a non-issue.

If I am sitting down with Mr RAndle:

I ask him who has more credibility in these two situations?

    1. "I am not going to be the HC of Alabama?, how many times do I have to tell you people?" One lied

    2. " I am the head coach of LSU, and I will continue to be the Head coach, and it's unfortunate I had to had to come here and clear up these misunderstandings?" The other past on his alma Mater

Les Miles is a good guy, he doesn't lie... He may have misspoke

Saban is a machine, ruthless and relentless

and 3rdly I know Stoops hates Miles, at least that is what I have read...so, I could see both of those coaches negatively recruiting LSU..

In the heat of the battle I trust Miles any day over the other cut throat coaches.. Miles is family man..and lives it... If Reuben's father would ponder these facts, he would see..

Bottom line, at a big time program you have to earn it, no matter how hyped you maybe

Les Miles needs to get on the phone and make this pretty clear:

"I'm the head coach, I don't give a damn what one of my assistants said, I make the decisions not them. Your son will be competing for the #2 spot, that is what I promise, I'm a man of my word and we'll have a damn strong team!"
