When did he graduate high school? If he graduated in 2008, he would not be eligible for the draft until 2011.
BTW, this is the local show's website http://www.espn977.com/ if they replay it, it should be on streaming???
all we have heard from many recruits over the last few years is how honest and upfront the LSU coaches are with them, even guys that commited elsewhere. now the father of the top recruit instate is calling the coaches out on radio the day before signing day. sorry i cant get my head around this one.
Heard his father say he was concerned with all the talented recievers Randle would have to contend with at LSU. The fact that he comes out with this a day before nsd does'nt look good for LSU. Either way we will have a great class.
After the question, "have you eleminated LSU?",there was an uncomfortably long pause, then "not completely". He said basically D-lo was told they'd compete for the 3rd spot, and RR was told he'd compete with TT for the 2 spot. It was very negative. I think he just is afraid of playing second fiddle to D-lo again....
If, and thats a big If, thats the truth, I wouldnt want anyone who is afraid to compete at this level, that just shows a bit of selfishness and arrogance of someone who hasnt played a down of college football. I am not dumping on this kid, but he shouldnt be afraid to compete with someone he knows and played highschool football with.
I like how there are increasing reports on the radio show statements, but no other statements directly from RR's dad. Maybe he cut the press off. At least it should get the post count up in this 1/2 dead thread...
