    Replay at 5:00 apparently.

I highly doubt he will be in a uniform that is not p & g.

Replay of the interview. This is apparently what was said.

Listen to what he says. He says that the coaches originally told them that Reuben would be competing with TT for the #2 spot but recently said that if D. Benton came, then RR would compete with him for the 3rd receiver spot.

I'm at a loss of words if the staff messed this up that bad.

Yeah that is bad if that really happened. So who believes that Miles or anyone on the staff would tell RR that he will compete with a 2 yr letterman for his spot? Does that even remotely sound reasonable? Like TT finished up his year as a disappointment?

I can't buy that. Just think this is the last 24 hrs and there is $ in rumors flying. I will be really surprised if Randle was told this.

So if Benton doesn't come, he competes for the #2 spot. If Benton does come, he competes for the #3 spot with DLo? That makes no sense at all. Sounds like a communication error because it makes no logical sense. How does the arrival of a recruit push you down the depth chart to compete WITH said recruit? I could see if they said Benton would push RR to compete for the 3rd spot while Benton competes for the Y spot. But this isn't even logical.

Well at least it's not a dispute between the X and Y spots because that would seem pretty stupid as well. The X and Y receivers are usually very similar type players. If X goes down or leaves, Y usually becomes X.

I just don't know what to say whoever told him that. Talking about retarded. You'd think they'd at least make it pretty clear he could still easily be the starter, he just has to work hard for it. But basically saying, "Hey, you're competing for the 3rd WR spot, possibly falling to the 4th" is not exactly enticing for a big recruit like this. Especially with everyone pitching to him he'd start immediately. Whoever told him that needs to be bitchslapped immediately lol.

What is worse, is even if this is fixed, the fact they lied is terrible. Even if it was miscommunication. This really sucks. I don't know if I'll have the stomach to watch NSD tomorrow...

This is where you are way off base. It is not fact. It is "reported", and that does not make it fact.

For example, is Miles coaching at Michigan or LSU? Why don't you wait before you slam the staff, 'cause it's all speculation now.

Bhelm, I didn't hear the interview but it was on the local ESPN radio show "Fox and Company". It was during the 3 o'clock hour, but I didn't tune in untill the 4th hour and they were rehashing what was discussed. It didn't sound good from what they were implying, but I didn't actually hear the actual interview.

Anymore news on the OU front? I've thought for a while they were #2. Hopefully nothing to it, but I gotta say I'd rather him there than at bama.

Maybe his boy KeKe's descision will help keep him home??:helmet:
