put 2 and 2 together. the family made a choice 2 days ago. his dad is on radio today saying the LSU coaches lied to them. seriously doubt this "lying" went on in the last day so it was part of their decision making process.

Bhelm, I would not be shocked at all if DLo bolted after one year if he manages to have a successful campaign. Mentally, he needs every bit of experience he can get. He needs the accountability and teaching that the college world can teach him. He might be ready for the NFL after one year, especially given his age. But he's got a long way to go where it counts most. When people(mostly local LSU fans) ask me about him, I tell them know I'm more concerned with him off the field than on it.
The point is, we don't know what happened but its obviously pissing his dad off. If this is all true, LSU better do what they can damage control wise or at least make him delay his LOI so they can fix whatever communication problems they had...
Did anyone on here actually hear the interview. Only place claiming this is Droppings and they are debating the same. No OU fans heard it either. The most followed OU expert is now saying Randle is all LSU.
Well, the local media guy said its all true. I haven't read the entire thread but basically what I said above is the problem. Apparently they told Benton/Randle they were competing for a specific WR spot, then the RR family found out it was the opposite and it pissed RR's dad off. So in other words, if true, they outright lied to them. Which is terrible. I understand the lying part as to him being pissed but RR will likely start his Sophomore year. BL is gone after this year. I just don't see problem with playing 3rd/4th receiver on the depth chart this year, especially considering Benton can leave at anytime. Not to mention TT could leave after next year... I never understand why recruits MUST play their True Freshman year, why is it such a huge thing? If its to leave early, you still got 2 more years to make a impact, then leave...
Maybe, but Shep in all his greatness hasn't generated this much interest. Obviously he would if the roles were reversed. Point is, Shep is a done deal. RR isn't. RR is news. Shep isn't.
dmitch just posted on the other site that he does not even have a facebook page. That rumor is squashed. He also said RR has not made a decision yet or talked to anyone yet. If his dad was on the radio and complaining about the X and Y WR spots then I am sure he is discussing it with Miles before they make a decision.
