The guy who said that on TD works for the local media and the following RR recruitment, hes not just saying that to start rumors.

So the fact that RR announces first really means that Benton will go elsewhere if RR picks LSU? Or will they talk to each other before hand and settle who goes where?
I had heard rumblings that they don't care for each other. Kinda chicken **** for them to pull this at the last minute. Randle has known Benton was an LSU signee for a long time now. If this was the case he shouldn't have even wasted LSU's time with his recruitment.

Something stinks. What else would a coach tell a recruit? They're both Wide Receivers. Benton has been committed for 2 years. If this is true it seems like a cop-out at the last minute to save face and go somewhere else.

makes no sense to be quiet the whole process then literally the day before NSD come out and make these statements. hes doing a terrible job of softening the blow it thats the objective. you dont accuse the LSU coaches of lying to make it easier thats for sure.
