Randle reminds me of Michael Clayton. You can put either of those two guys at multiple positions on the field and they'l excel. CB, Safety, RB, QB, WR, etc. They're just pure, natural athetes who are at ease on the field makeing plays no matter where they are. If he is hungry for success, he's going to be unstoppable and Crowton is can find a million and one uses for him.

Lafell, T. Tolliver, Randle, and TE Dixon, make a hell of a three wide out 1 tight set.

I think RR is like Lafell, but with better hands.

For those of us who have played football..whether superior athletes or not, QB's typically have the best hands on the team.

They have made livings out of holding, carressing, and throwing that football. The fact that RR made an easy transition form WR to QB, says a hell of a lot about this kids ability.

He's 18 years old and he's already 6'3 195. By the time this kid hits 21 or 22, he will be a full grown monster.

His ball skills are phenominal, and JJ may be in the running for a Heisman (simnply due to the fact that almost everyone on our offense is a weapon), The 2009 Tigers will have a offensive attack that will be second to none.

And everyone on this board needs to here me proclaim that if he sees' the field, Chris Tolliver will make an immediate impact.

He reminds me of Marvin Harrison. Go back and watch film on this guy if you haven't yet.

Small, but fast, fights for the ball, and catches everything that touches his hands. Plays with a Steve Smith type of aggression..

RR will be the icing on the cake. But the 2009 Tigers will be stacked regardless.

    By the way...imho

By the time RR graudates or declares for the draft, he should be a definate top 15 pick. :geaux:

With all do respect, RR has the potential to be far superior to LaFell. When all is said and done, RRs accomplishments will likely dwarf LaFell.

Regarding size, if you are referring to his height, he has likely reached his full adult height. It is a common misperception that men continue to grow in height after high school, but that is actually rare. 7 footers lilke Shaq, Yao Ming, Dr. J, etc are extreme exceptions to the rule. Growth plates for men are generally closing b/t 16 and 18 years of age. If anyone grows after that, it is very subtle, maybe 1/4-1/2 inch, nothing substantial. Women actually cease height growth around 14-15 years old.

For what it's worth, I spoke with two local television sports reporters at the Hornets game last night and they stated Randle is signing with LSU from their sources.

I think Lafell has the potential to be a great WR, he just doesn't have the natural hands.

Think Moss and T.O. (No, Im not comparing RR to Moss).

Just to get a clue of what I mean as far as hands go.

I don;t think RR will grow to bve 6'6, but the kid will almost certainly weigh about 210-215 before its all said and done.

As far as Lafell goes, he is a freak of an athelete. He runs A+ routes, is dangerous after the catch, and has the size tha NFL scouts dream of.

If not for shabby QB play, form Jarrett "Defensive TD" Lee, Laffell and Byrd could have put up monster numbers. Assuming that the Qb play will be gretly improved form last year, I expect BL to go in the top 20.

If he makes a few spectacular catches, and erases some of his drops, I think he can sneak into the top 10-15.
But typically, having grest hands is a natural thing. Something that can never be coached and RR has natural hands.

Thats understandable. You just have to understand people want the information now and they want to hear it firsthand. I dont post much on here but I do lurk all the time and I can tell you this is the most followed prospect in the country, and when rumors start flying people want to be reassured. I for one am glad you posted that because I just want to hear people say that hes coming to LSU, I dont care if its first hand or not. :geaux::crystal:

:geaux: Don't you want the information to be credible or verifiable to a certain extent? Anyone can come on here and say "RR is coming to LSU without a doubt". I want him at LSU just as much as the next person but if someone is posting a comment/info like that it, it sure would be nice to know that it's valid or at least based on a credible source. I'm not saying that cat doesn't know what he's talking about, but I'm not going to just get all warm and fuzzy about RR just 'cause he says he's coming. Just sayin'..... :LSU231:
