After reading the first 2 paragraphs I stopped, more excuses and the "Im just joking" act. Dont try to tell me what I would be saying about Tebow. I just said he was all-world. Dont put words in my mouth. One of my best friends is a UF Alum and a Gator Fan, outside of him the rest are scum imo. (Now thats how you tell a joke):wink:
Yeah, everyone can admit Tebow's awesome, because he has been. If he was terrible, everyone would make fun of him the same way I did. I'm not covering anything up by saying I'm joking. I thought the Lee post was a very clear joke, I even tried to add a smiley at the end because that's about the only way I can get things across. I was admittedly being a bit naive - I thought that you guys would jump on the chance to make fun of Lee because he had a poor season. I apologize for that, but saying Jarrett Lee threw a lot of interceptions in a joke shouldn't receive an attack. Anyway, hopefully I can prove to you that more than just your best friend is a good Gator fan in the future. I really need to start treading lightly here.
OMG, in case you haven't noticed, this is an LSU forum. We welcome and have many highly regarded fans of other schools who post here on a regular basis. However, if you think that you are going to post hear, beat your Florida drum continuously and take shots at LSU under the guise of "just joking" and not be challenged, you are sadly mistaken. Post whatever you like within the rules of the forum but brace yourself because we will respond!
I think you really don't get it at all. We all laughed our asses off at images of Tebow crying in Tiger Stadium in 2007, and we all commented on it. But we did it here, not on gator boards. Nor did we try to justify it by claiming that we did not intend to be snide. Your problem is not what you say, which may be true, but where you are saying it. It's simple geography and you seem to have lost your gps. That aside, this board generally does not require it's collective ass to be kissed, nor are we unable to discuss the shortcomings of our team, players, or general performance. But when you decide to take a shot across the bow, most people here will circle the wagons. I am surprised you are confused by this.
