Re: Rueben Randle I believe Fried if he said he saw him because it is pretty easy to recognize Randle. Also, it was my mistake. Randle and his hosts might have not been the ones who went to N.O. Montgomery and TR are the ones that mentioned the trip to N.O.
Re: Rueben Randle My god, no offense, but I wouldn't be allowing my recruits to go to NO. If anything, it probably would leave a sour taste in their mouth. Post Katrina NO is pretty bad and before it was bad to begin with. I'm sure someone will likely mob me for saying that...
Re: Rueben Randle Well they aren't visiting the 9th ward. They are going to hit Bourbon. The happiest street in the world.
Re: Rueben Randle Exactly, if I was a recruit and never been to Bourbon Street I would be all over it.
Re: Rueben Randle No offense but Bourbon Street isn't the best of places IMO. Due mostly to the drainage in NO, its disgusting over there. Yea, I've had a few good times but what always seems to flash in my memory is the smell of **** and puke. Just dirty. No thanks, I'll stick to the Northshore area lol. Also, I've had some really bad experiences as far as crime goes over there. Not trying to be a ass or demoralize anyone from that area, I just don't like it. As for RR's dad, link? Because hes been pretty guarded about his comments on officials. If he said we had a "great" time, I'd say that is huge for LSU.
Re: Rueben Randle This would put you in the vast minority ad I don't think it's possible to overemphasize how small a minority that is. The FQ has been fantastic post-Katrina. Clean even. It's quite remarkable.
Re: Rueben Randle I'm not trying to put down on the area, I've had some good times. I'm from the Northshore area, so its not that far from me. Its just that, I've had some real bad experiences there, so now I try to avoid it. But its pointless to talk about it, this thread is about RR. Randle we love you man, be a Tiger!:miles:
