Re: Rueben Randle With all due respect, his brother Dmitch has posted on Tigerdroppings for several weeks...he comes around and puts to bed rumors.. He hasn't posted in a while as fans on other boards have given him grief over kissing up to the fans for love. (which is bogus).. He got too involved basically..and pulled away. Dmitch is a huge Cane fan...He has maintained all along that he doesn't know what his brother is going to do... That was about 3 weeks ago however. the bama thing was not just talk, I don't think, he has made at least one trip over to Bama on his own...to see practices etc.. I read that OU was very much in it as well. The Miami thing, I believe early on they were a player. Randle doesn't say much at all... Other than , being near home will allow his family to come out and can be a home town hero... I have been let down lately on commitments, so I am very cautious.. This does feel different from the McKnight ordeal
Re: Rueben Randle Well Randle will be the headliner this year for all teams..as the #2 player in the country uncommitted I didn't even get to see Loston's commitment... was on Friday of the AA game? Everyone else has been early which is great actually.. Less stress
Re: Rueben Randle This year has been different in that regard with all the early commits and I think we are moving that direction from here on out since Miles keeps moving up the Junior Days the past 2 years. Loston was on that Friday during the Skills Challenge.
Re: Rueben Randle I understand that it's going like this for the most part: 1. LSU 2. Miami 3. Alabama 4. Oklahoma 5. Everyone else
Re: Rueben Randle Hey I love it, and hope it's true, but LSU insiders don't see more than a 50/50 or 60/40 over Bama... Miami hasn't really been considered his top school of choice... as evidenced he didn't take an official... Bama he did, and OU he did.. Now he did take trip with Dmitch this summer to the U.. Anyways, I having a hard believing coaches in South Miami know more than LSU folks do who are much closer..When R R doesn't say anything to anyone, maybe he finally did, and it was the coaches at the U? anyways, I appreciate you posting and giving us encouraging news! Thank you!
Re: Rueben Randle rivals has miami as a low intrest and i would assume so ... im pretty sure it was lsu, bama and ou all along ... im pretty sure he wants a descent qb to throw to him ... he would have that at ou for sure, with their pass happy offense but would he have it at bama or miami ? lsu made a huge splash in the bowl game showing what he can have at lsu with a fresh young qb ... but we all know he is a kid and kids do what they want
Re: Rueben Randle Yeah if Miami was a serious player then Reuben's dad did a good job of hiding it. Never once did I ever hear him mention the Canes. Every time we talked it was the Sooners or Bama. He always had good things to say about OU. I think there was alot of interest in Bama too. I think he held Bama over me just to bust my chops though. He knows I hate them.
Re: Rueben Randle The TF Holy Trinity have it averaging out a little better than 80/20 LSU/Bama Bhelm = 90 Me = 85 CParso = 70 Give or take 5 percent :thumb:
Re: Rueben Randle islstl, I thought RR was coming into town today, but I read some where else that was false, RR coming in town tomorrow/ Can you confirm? The talk this morning was 4 days in BR..2 on his own dime, a good sign... What have you heard?
