Re: Rueben Randle I think someone posted the times. Here is google's info: Bastrop to LSU = 208 miles, 4 1/2 hours Bastrop to Bama = 325 miles, 5 hours Not sure if it actually takes 4 1/2 hours, that would be an average speed of only 46 MPH. I suspect you can get there in only 4 hours.
Re: Rueben Randle I don't agree with that. As far as recruiting info goes, Sonny is much better than Mike. Mike blows smoke up our ass way too much. Sometimes I think he reads TD and rips rumors from there. He just seems much lazier to me when it comes to recruiting. Sonny, however, should stick to recruiting because he doesn't report well outside it.
Re: Rueben Randle Dang isl. Am I on ignore status or something?:bncry::rofl: I just posted the actual time. I'm from Bastrop and went to school in BR. Made the trip many times. Without stops and without speeding, it's a 3.5 hour trip. Mostly 4-laned. If you get caught up in Sicily Island with their one cop, it'll take over 4 hours now.

Pretty much any tidbit outside recruiting from Sonny I just ignore :rofl: Hes great for recruiting information though and even when he posts his "gut feeling" hes usually dead-on with a situation. Just for everyone's info. This weekend's forecast looks to be gloomy weather wise. Not good at all. I like it when we have beautiful clear days with mild temperatures to show recruits.

Re: Rueben Randle I was about to say you were haulin major arse, but then I thought about it and it's really not that far from Bastrop at all. Bastrop to I-20 is about 25 minutes, then it's straight interstate. You're in Mississippi in a little over an hour, and once you get through Mississippi, you're pretty much there. Bastrop to Norman is about 6.5 hours, and that's taking the longer, but all interstate way through Dallas. It's possible to shorten it by cutting through small towns but you've gotta be lucky with it being so much 2-lane.

Re: Rueben Randle They're just listing his schools of interest in order...and only 3 can fit...nothing to choke about... If he had "high" interest in any of them, they'd be listed first, then ABC order for "medium" interest... He has medium interest in everything...
