    Re: Rueben Randle

RR's dad said he plans on taking a visit to Auburn on the 30th but very possible that could be another no show. Probably a courtesy visit because they came in for an in-home visit this week and been on him hard the past few weeks.

    Re: Rueben Randle

Yesterday on Al.com was an article about AU recruiting. Apparently The Mr. football from Alabama committed to Auburn, and he's a good QB. I can't remember his name (probably because he's the wrong kind of tiger) but Chizyck told him he'd get a good WR for him to throw to. Chizyck is trying to make a late pitch for RR and got him to consider a visit to AU. I think coach Chizyck is really trying to make a splash with some headlines for the alumni because RR seems to be very methodical throughout the recruiting process and AU's coaches must realistically know that their efforts are too little too late, but certainly worth a try. The article mentions another receiver they're after.

Sorry I can't remember more specifics like names and a link, but it was a real ho-hum article.

Maybe one of the Auburn posters here can clarify with more details.

^ Clint Moseley from Leroy. Decent QB, has some wheels. There is a reason he was visiting Arkansas State this past weekend, though.

    Re: Rueben Randle

Apparently Teague (http://alabama.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=80828) took a visit to Bama this past weekend.. he's a slot-type receiver currently committed to UF. A few people think he's not very happy with the depth chart situation at UF.

Certainly can't hurt our chances with RR if they're shopping around still. :milesmic: Unless they plan on someone decommitting of course :thumb:

Current word going around is Patterson is leaning towards Bama now. That can only be good news, for sure.

I agree. Kelly to Clemson.. Patterson to Bama.. RR to LSU.

Kelly to Bama/Patterson to Ole Miss wouldn't shock me either.

All will be good in the world.
