Well, the time that they have on his rivals profile was when he was timed on a wet field (supposedly). Everyone in town knows that he's got jets. A 4.39 forty would qualify as a burner, would it not?:thumb:
Being that big, I bet he doesnt look fast. I would assume he takes long strides. The time dont lie, hes fast.
Agreed, that's why I don't understand the scouting comments. Not that the mighty scouts never makes mistakes but the numbers really don't lie. Can't wait to see some film.
I have seen this kid plays several times, he is not a "talented downfield blocker" as you would say. He is a great athlete and will be a very good WR in college.
Julio Jones Ht: 6-foot-4 Wt: 215 lbs Forty: 4.48 secs Bench max: 315 pounds Bench reps: 13 Squat max: 505 pounds Vertical: 41 inches Shuttle: 4.69 secs These receivers seem pretty alike. Julio has a (much) better vertical, but I wonder if Brown's is correct.
This was posted on scout to day. "Brown had offers from Alabama, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Southern Miss before this most recent rash of scholarship tenders. DeAndre denys a leader, but his attraction to LSU is tough to discount. "I went to LSU about a month ago. I enjoyed it," said DeAndre. "They have a big campus. My old teammate Richard Dickson goes there, so he is trying to fill my head with LSU. Overall I do feel at home there." http://story.scout.com/a.z?s=107&p=2&c=631938
