He wants to know why we haven't offered but it is pretty obvious. The coaches have asked him to make a trip down to the campus a few times and he still has never been here. Even if he makes it down for a visit the coaches will not get a chance to see the whole package with no camp going on. Going to be a longshot to get an offer because I think we only take 2 WRs unless Debose wants to commit.
Appleton recently stated LSU is his clear #1 and that he is just waiting on an offer. Their first game of his senior season will be nationally televised on ESPN vs Wayne High on Aug 31st. He told tigerRag to let the coaches know they should base their decision on offering him from the numbers he puts up in that game. Gives us LSU fans something to watch for sure.
When you say 2 WRs, I hope the 2 you are referring to are Bell and Randle. Adding DeBose would be sick but I am praying we get Randle. Call me being a negative thinker but I think Randle will be a battle until signing day. I have my doubts we get him.I may just be thinking the worst hoping for the best.
Yes, I expect Randle and Bell to be apart of this class. Only way I see us taking 3 WRs this year is if Debose wants to commit because he is a take no matter what. Appleton could impress and be a take as well but I doubt it.
:geaux::crystal::helmet: What are the possibilities of either Appleton or DeBose committing to LSU before Randle? If that happened, would LSU accept? I assume they would accept a commit from DeBose, not sure about Appleton. Anyway, would a commit from either one put any pressure on Randle to commit sooner? I know a lot of people say Randle is a lock and his spot saved, but I'm not 100% convinced we get him. I hope we do, but I just have an uneasy feeling about this kid. Don't worry so much.:wink: We will accept a commit from Debose or lets say Marlon Brown but Appleton will have to wait assuming we eventually offer him but that does not look likely.

I think Appleton got the picture because he committed to Illinois today. He will still visit LSU for an official.
