Depends on how you interpret it. I think LSU got backed into a corner and had to make a choice. It would've been nice if they could've said thanks, but no thanks, we'll take our chances on signing both guys. But if you're forced to make a choice between two, or end up with neither, I understand the decision. I just hate for any school to have to give any one recruit that much power. I do not blame LSU for making what had to be a very difficult, albeit easy, choice. What I don't like, is grown men toying around with a kid's future for the benefit of their own kid. Suppose he didn't have Auburn waiting in the wings? Now the Bastrop coaches are on a rampage accusing one coach of sabotaging the whole thing, when if it weren't for that coach, DLo might be without a scholly from anyone right now.
Are you guys referring to me? If so, then I don't appreciate your "He's being negative" and "He's been negative to all these guys" quotes. What are you talking about?!?!?!? In case you haven't noticed, I am in Birmingham so I am not privy to the "insider information" that you are. We are all rooting for the same thing...a successful class and a championship caliber team. What is the problem?
Again...is this directed at me? What is your foundation brother? I want Bell, I want Richardson, etc. What do you want and what is your deal man?
Well said. If RR's dad was the reason Benton was forced to Auburn, that is incredibly immature and pisses me off. Like said, if LSU was backed into a corner of course they're going to pick the sure thing in RR. Benton has more question marks than RR. I bet if this is all true, Miles is absolutely pissed about the situation. I've never heard of him bolting on ANY recruit.
