Luther Davis Part II...For someone's attitude to just change like that... something had to happen behind doors or something but I think him being in P&G are gone. Especially at a position were its not a definite need.

I really liked this kid but with the guys we have and the ones that are coming in we really don't need him and it wouldn't be that big of a loss is we didn't get him.

Sounds like the kid is having second thoughts because of the competition he'll face.

When a kid states that he really doesn't care what the school he's committed to thinks, it's time to part ways.

IMHO, this year's team already has a bad attitude that I don't like, we don't need more of it from a kid that isn't even wearing the purple and gold yet.

I'd tell the kid to take as many visits as he can because he's going to need them.

I dont think its the competition as much as he probably got a wink and a nod from the staff or he isnt getting love from them anymore. Either way it seems he wont be in this class based on his comments.

Its not really a big deal because we are loaded at his position but I dont want to lose LA kids to Satan. I think that can have a negative long term effect on recruiting.

This is looking like the year we "officially" lose a kid we wanted to the gumps.

This is contradictory. First you say we don't want him then you say we will lose a kid we want to Bama?

    BS.

If we wanted him, we would be "showing him the love" as you said. If we're not it's probably because we're getting strong interest from highly ranked players at positions of a greater need.

So what are the odds we pull his offer? There's a few people I'd rather see in P&G besides him.

Re: Kenny Bell is a TIGER!

If he really did say that, then I would consider him a decommit at this point and that the relationship between LSU and Bell is officially over.

The problem here is the article was written by a rivals guy from BamaOnLine.com (the dreaded BOL).

So I'll state it once more, "if he really did say that".

    We will soon find out.

Re: Kenny Bell is a TIGER!

Of course its contradictory...by the staff. Why did we give this kid an offer and accept his commitment in the first place? We obviously wanted him at that point and maybe now we dont?

I hate seeing LA players going to Bama and its even worse if we lose one who was committed to us. If we had reservations about Bell or thought we would get a better player he shouldnt have received a commitable offer.
