Re: Kendall Kelly Word on the street is that if Randle goes to Bama, LSU would be in great shape for Kelly. So basically it could come down to Bama and LSU taking one of these players. Which one is the big question now? But now OU is in play for Randle. So conceivably Kelly to Bama and Randle to OU could happen. I don't think so, however.
Re: Kendall Kelly This is what Barton Simmons had to say about Kelly after the first day of practice for the AL/MS All-Star Game. On Kelly: "Wasn't overly impressed today. I liked the three Mississippi WRs and two of the Alabama WRs - Caleb Lewis and Mujahid Assad - better than Kelly today based off of one practice." The Mississippi WR's are Chad Bumphis, Patrick Patterson, and Kevin Norwood.

Re: Kendall Kelly Saban met with Kelly and his parents yesterday: "Me and my parents met with Coach Saban and Coach (Bobby) Williams at the school. I think it went great. We had a very good conversation and I learned some new things. I talk to the coaches all the time but this was a little different because they went over academics," Kelly said. "They said I'm good to go. Coach Saban really preaches academics so being eligible was a relief. I know how important that is to him. It's important to my parents also." "Jerrell being at Alabama doesn't hurt. I know Dre is looking at them hard too and I wouldn't mind playing with them again. We are all pretty tight," Kelly said. "But at the same time I think we all have to do what is best for us. Playing with them would be a bonus though. Me and Dre talk about it.
Re: Kendall Kelly Will be interesting to see if LSU pushes hard for Kelly. Personally, I love Kelly. He is in the same mold as Terrance Toliver. All depends on what is really going on with Debose, obviously.
Re: Kendall Kelly Based on what I'm hearing out of Gadsden, Kelly can be taken from Bama if we push the right buttons. The Gadsden coaches think this is the best player they have ever had in the area.
