I would agree to not lay the blame until we hear the facts. Great day so far, though guys. Although Jackson has me a bit worried since I think Tennessee will be making a splash today.
Re: Benton signs with Auburn per Rivals Radio LSU has stuck with Benton for two years as he's tried to get his grades and test scores in order and has not pulled his offer to anyone's knowledge. As of yesterday, LSU expected to sign him, as they have the last two years. Auburn got in awfully late. Benton may not think he's going to survive academically for very long and needs an opportunity to start right away. Auburn can offer that, LSU can not. There may also be something to rumors that a private agreement between former teammates Randle and Benton existed not to attend the same school.

I just don't see CLM throwing Benton under the bus after supporting him for 2 years. Doesn't make sense and isn't Miles' style.
