He's the real deal and every bit as talented as Randle. Now you see why LSU has stuck with this kid through thin and thin.
He's got Brandon LaFell kinda size. I'm fine with that. Kinda funny when 6'3" is considered fairly average. Athleticism in players is getting out of control, in a good way.
I thought the article listed him as 6-1, 188? But Rivals lists him as 6-3? And he said Randle was bigger but Randle is only 6-3? I am not reading something correctly.
I'm 6'4 and DLo looks me square in the eye. If he isn't 6'3 he's right on the cusp. He just has a different frame from Rueben. Rueben has the frame to add 20 lbs. and not lose any athleticism, maybe even pull a David Boston and get more athletic. DLo won't be able to handle any more than 10-15 more pounds and stay effective.
If he doesn't fulfill his two year old commitment, it would be one of the few "bold decisions" he ever made. He's not a rock the boat type. I just don't think he has it in him to completely reverse course like that. Not that he hasn't thought about it...
:geaux: Hope he does stay the course and doesn't decide to do any "boat rocking".:hihi: He and RR on the field at the same time would be an awesome sight to behold. Hope to see it happen. :LSU231:
