We'd have a great passing team and some good blocking on the outside. I like to block. I'm not the selfish type player. I like to see other people get the ball, too. Right now, I just want to play." "He's up there," Bradshaw said. "He's one of the best players I've ever coached, no question. He's got some things that you can't coach. You can't coach 6-3." Asked if Randle is as good as Benton, Benton said, "No, he's not. Yeah, he's bigger than me, but that's not all of it."
I think he should man up and keep his word/commitment to LSU. Didn't he sign with LSU before? If he picks Auburn, he is right about letting down a lot of people, including LSU, his friends and fans, and possibly his coach. If he is confident about his abilities, the other WR's should not be a factor. It would be a huge and risky mistake to consider Auburn despite possibly less competition or promise of immediate playing time. LSU is in a much better position as a program to give him a good chance for success.
They have some/many people that might agree with him on that.Once he knocks off the rust and getting use to getting hit because he's been working out it'll be something to watch
LSU hasn't pressed Benton to commit and reaffirm his stance with LSU, instead allowing him to make an announcement on NSD. I wonder how much that has to do with trying to land Kelly as well.
