Hell if Benton and Randle Farted at the sametime in Bastrop, you probably could hear it in Monroe and Grambling:hihi:
You should have posted your observation. It would have been an important post that would have put a lot of worry to rest and would have engendered lots of comments/discussion. (engendered...I've been reading the dictionary... got to the E's)
http://www.shreveporttimes.com/article/20090130/SPORTS0202/901300305 "I'm about done now academically," Benton said in an interview with Gannett Wednesday at Lee's Drug Store near Bastrop High. "I've been taking independent study classes online, and I finally wrapped it up. I'm ready to just get my transcript. When I take my visit this weekend to LSU, I'm going to take it down there with me." "All the work has been completed this time," Bastrop coach Brad Bradshaw said. "But we still have got to get through the Clearinghouse. When we get through the Clearinghouse, I'll say he's eligible. He's done everything that he was told to do by the NCAA. He was not cleared last summer because he messed up and because of my not understanding all the rules and what it took. They told him what he needed to do. But that's behind him now. He made a mistake." Even though Benton has twice signed with LSU coach Les Miles, Benton said he has still not made up his mind about going to LSU. He is still considering Auburn, where he visited last weekend. And several Auburn assistant coaches were in Bastrop on Tuesday to talk to Benton and Randle, who is expected in Auburn Friday for his final weekend visit. "I talked to Auburn, but it was just talking," Benton said. "I talked to them a couple of weeks ago when they came down here for Rueben. I had a pretty good visit there. It was nice. They have all new coaches. I had told coach Miles that I was going to visit them, and he wanted me to come down this weekend. So I'm going to LSU this weekend." "No, I haven't made up my mind," he said. "But I know if I turn LSU down, I'll be letting down a lot of people." ======================================================================================= I don't think we have much to worry about. Miles has him coming in this weekend to wrap him up and get his head straight. He will be an LSU Tiger this fall.
I don't know. With his comment about "turning LSU down" it sounds like thats where his mind is at. Like he might want to go to Auburn but he knows he'd be letting down a lot of people whp worked hard to support him to get him eligible. I hope he's a Tiger, I really do, but I don't want a kid if his heart is somewhere else.
