    Agree with Calco:

    LSU has:

Shepard - arguably the most explosive player and will play QB
Jackson - arguably the best cover corner
Faulk - arguably the best OT
Ford - arguably the best RB
Davenport - arguably the best DT
Loston - arguably the best S
Allen - arguably the best FB
Benton - arguably the best WR (every bit as good as Randle)

That's 8 players that are at the top of their respective positions.

Add nothing else to this class, and it's still top flight.

    Bandit:

I wonder if anyone has considered this offensive line for 2009:

    LT - Black :D
LG - McCoy or Blackwell :)
C - Hitt (moved from RG)
RG - McCoy or Dworaczyk :hihi:
RT - Barksdale (backed up by Shaw) :thumb:

TE - Dickson, Joseph, Branch, Edwards

I really like the idea of McCoy being next to Black for blind-side protection. Is he effective now as a pulling OL?

:geaux: Have :crystal: :crystal: Beat :eek:lefire: Saturday

(They owe me one for afternoon game in 1963)

One of the big guns on Scout heard some great things about LSU and Debose. He did not expand on what he heard but it is looking really good for LSU right now.

    Down to 4 now.

    LSU, UF, UGA, and FSU.

CUM has made him a priority but Debose is still liking what LSU has to offer.

Will announce at Under Armor game Jan 4th.

I won't crater but we simply cannot afford to keep losing 5-star prospects from out of Louisiana.

I really hope we get Debose, but despite LSU being the favorite as of now he will be tough to pull from UF. Id much rather steal Jones or Bostic because LB is such a major need right now.

Very well said. We need to keep that fence around La more than ever. We especially cant lose Randle to Bama, insult to injury.
