So you do think DeBose may transfer if he doesn't get playing time?
I don't know a lot about this kid, other than his intangibles.

Oh no, wherever he ends up he should do quite well and flourish. How soon that takes place is questionable.

The real question is, where does he end up?

    Harvin bolts to the NFL.

Debose to Florida now figured to be at least 90 percent.

Who was the last quality slot receiver at LSU?

Early Doucet and Skyler Green before that (although Green was again a more gimmicky slot guy like Holliday but he actually did catch some passes).

Calhoun has a legit shot to see the field as a true freshman in the slot with coming in early and the prospects that Debose won't be a part of this team.

I don't see Calhoun being that much of a factor next season, at least not in the slot. If it's as a returner/DB maybe, but I think with Chris Tolliver and Chris Mitchell, plus Trindon if he's back, Calhoun will have a tough time beating those 3 out for PT. Not to mention the inclusion of Shep which you've already accounted for.

Well I think Drayton will be a factor in the offense. For one, he's already here with Shepard. They can only grow better together, spending time in our offense. I think they both get playing time.

I will be surprised to see Calhoun go over to the defensive side of the ball unless he just can't hold onto a pass.

We have too many CBs as it is.

I feel the same way...I just watched his Highlights again, and he has great acceleration. He looks a lot like Debose on the pitch options. We need a speed guy like D-ray to bring a larger frame to the x-factor position. If we run double reverses with him and Trindon, and half-back passes with Shepard...it would be the fastest show on Earth!
