Re: Andre DeBose Yeah I don't know how many countless people (on other sites) said Campbell to LSU, then when it didn't happen the story was "he never considered LSU". Last time I checked, you can't have it both ways.
Re: Andre DeBose Mike S & Sonny still both think LSU, same with Shepard, but he hasn't told any recruits he is coming to LSU... he apparently has told some that he is going to Florida. Also, the info that we've been getting on DeBose - Florida has been getting just as much positive information.

Re: Andre DeBose I agree but even the UF fans are saying that the positive news has just finally picked up on Debose this past week and have been very worried before that with the updates coming from Debose about LSU.
Re: Andre DeBose Lichtenfels of Scout thinks he's going to LSU, and he's right a lot, so that makes me feel sort of better. It's just hard to pull a kid that Florida reaaaaaaally wants out of Florida so I usually give them the edge.
Re: Andre DeBose When I look at recruiting, I try to put myself into their positions & see what move they would perceive as being best for them. Florida has proven they know how to utilize a talent like him, they are closer to home, and their depth chart is more favorable than ours. This is really a coin flip, but regardless of who he picks this won't be over until NSD.
Re: Andre DeBose Very true. Really, he can't go wrong with either program. LSU 2 BCS NCs, Florida looking like they're about to be at 2 also. On one hand LSU hasn't really had a receiver like Debose in recent years, yet they still produce a lot of first-round talent from WR. Florida hasn't really produced a lot of great NFL talent at WR recently. Like you said though, Meyer has utilized guys like him very well. Can't go wrong either way.

Re: Andre DeBose only point really a factor for Debose, is the success of Demps this year. The depth chart is log jammed at UF with scat backs. I think Debose is a Miles man through and through. And has formed a great relationship with Russell Shepard. Debose has stated that distance isn't a factor. If he picks LSU, I don't see that changing.
Re: Andre DeBose The thing is this isn't just the case of LSU all of a sudden jumping into the game. We have been on him from the very start, always kept in contact with him. He has been here 2 times on his own dime. Twice. A third time on an official. What kid goes to the same school 3 times and isn't likely to sign with them or the very least commit to them? He wrote a term paper on Les Miles. When visited by Les Miles, there was a throng of players in which one player from the bunch acknowledged Coach Miles as he entered the stadium and this player couldn't take his eyes off Coach Miles. He seemed to be awed by Coach Miles' presence. That player was none other than Andre Debose.
