Re: Andre DeBose I cant wait to see the chemistry between Shep and Debose in the UA game. POLL: How many times will Shep throw it to Debose? a. None b. 2 or less c. 3-4 d. 5 or more NEW CHOICE thanks to islstl-> e. as many times as it takes to convince him to come to LSU
Re: Andre DeBose I imagine Shep is developing some good chemistry with Ohio State commit Duron Carter: In Friday practice, Shep threw a perfectly timed fade route to Carter that would have been impossible for any defensive back to break up. Also, Shep agreed with many observers when he said that Duron Carter was the top performer of the week. "(Carter) catches everything thrown to him. I'm not sure how he makes some of the catches that he does," Shepard said. Carter is the son of Cris Carter, one of the greatest WRs in NFL history. Carter committed to Ohio St like his dad (his dad was Ohio State's first All American at wide receiver). Duron Carter Cris Carter
Re: Andre DeBose Which is why I say he's gone. He is mid first round right now. With the way Meyer uses him and Tebow like rented mules the chance for more injuries are high.
Re: Andre DeBose I wasnt disagreeing on Harvin going pro (I dont know, really depends on the NC game if you ask me) I disagreed on his stock is as high as it can get because I think his stock can easily rise with a solid sr year.
Re: Andre DeBose If it's mid first round (which we have no idea right now), then he should leave. That's maxed out for him since he isn't a true receiver. My guess right now is anywhere from late first to early 2nd.
Re: Andre DeBose If Ted Ginn can go 9th, Harvin is at least that...although I don't know why Ginn went before #20.
Re: Andre DeBose Harvin will go first round if he comes out this year and there are no lingering injury issues. He will light it up at the combines. He is built rock solid, especially compared to Ginn, and is the better player.
Re: Andre DeBose Yeah i was gona say something about Ginn but keep in mind how much of a shock it was with Ginn being picked so early, nobody saw that comming. But you are right that Harvin is at least as good of a prospect as Ginn, they are very similar players but they ran out of complely different offences. We will see what he decides to do after the NC game
Re: Andre DeBose Ok, so no new info on Debose. Lots of rumors floating around. Supposedly the coaches know as of today based on what Debose said in an interview. I still have him picking LSU tomorrow.
Re: Andre DeBose I also have Debose declaring LSU tomorrow. Any video on the interview? Once he declares tomorrow, how much of that is a done deal?
