not really true, Lee gets rid of the ball really quick and Jefferson sits back there and makes f'n smores and sings kumbaya before he gets rid of the ball.

I think even JJ knows he holds the ball too long. I mean how long does this kid think the pocket will hold before it collapses. I counted to 5 in the last game before one of his sacks and he was still looking for his receiver. Who by the way 1-2 secs before was wide open. If the O line can keep a QB upright in the pocket for 4-5 secs, he has got to realize that is a lifetime in football.

JJ's is a 2 fold problem. He can't pull the trigger and when he finally does it takes forever for him to release the ball. May be the longest arm motion I have ever seen by a QB.

    from an outsider

I think after the past couple of weeks, I know it's been talked about by myself and others I know, but we are all in agreement LSU may have the only SEC worthy Defense in the Conference right now.

I suppose MSU doesn't look terrible but outside of that none are up to par across the entire SEC.

IMO one of JJ's problems is that he lacks that "6th sense" that great QB's have to "feel" a blindside pass rush or the pocket collapsing.
