I am personally at a loss as to what happened during the title game. As a bama fan, I was pissed for you LSU fans for JL not coming into the game. I kept asking when the **** is Miles going to put Lee in?! This is rediculous! And then I hear JJ delusionally say that he made great decisions with the ball I was like "are you ****ing joking me?!". On the other side of the ball, I have never seen AJ as on fire as he was. That has me excited to see what is in store for the future. All in all, we knew bama had a bad game the first time around and tried playing too conservative. All I'm trying to say is I am sorry for the way the game turned out for you guys and trust me, no one here expected to see those type of results. Roll tide from Alabama and just be prepared for the bandwagonners to come out of the woodworks. Rtr! And best of luck to you guys next season!

I've got to say, I was amazed with how well McCarron played Monday. His throws were not only on-target, but placed where only the receiver could get the ball. He completed a number of throws where our corners were in position to make a play if the ball was anywhere but where AJM put it.

I'm tired of talking about Miles' failure in this game. I assume you've read some of the threads here, so you know what's being said. Some of it is Chicken Little bs from people who simply hate the guy, but much of it is valid criticism of his (lack of) performance in getting ready for what should have been the biggest game in LSU history.

I've got to say, the Bama fans that have visited tigerfan.com since the game have been very gracious in victory. Thanks for posting; we love for opposing fans to come in and have serious, flame-free football discussion.

We will bounce back. AJ threw some perfect passes. I think he exposed 7's size. Why we didn't make the adjustments and get help over the top is beyond me. Why the highest rated passer in the sec doesn't get one snap in ncg is also beyond me(JL passer efficiency rating is 152, highest of any sec qb) . Savor the victory because you aren't beating us next year. We will get a shot at redemption.

TM's size is really no surprise if you know your football. His big plays come in special teams, when he's inside playing the nickel, or when he makes a play on a ballcarrier after the pass is complete. We've always known he's too small to go one-on-one against bigger receivers on the outside.

Well, considering our losses from this years roster, that would not surprise me. I will be pulling for you guys when you go to the SEC title game this year!:thumb:

Yeah, agreed, why he didn't get help over the top is confusing. Why no adjustments were made is bothering me. That isn't working, try something else. Keep trying until something works. I don't get it and i'm not buying that JL's stats against bama had anything to do with it. He didn't throw enough passes to get a body of work. Unless you count his first year. He's come a long way since then. I actually feel CLM has some blame for JL's second pick against bama this year. He was rattled and got cold sitting on the bench wondering if he'd get a chance. I would have went right back to him and then ran some option. It was handled poorly. I would be concerned with JL's confidence. It was like that was what CLM was waiting for, the excuse to put in JJ and never look back.

AJ definitely has come of age, he didn't manage the game, but frankly just went out and took it over. He moved around in the pocket to buy time and made some nice runs as well. As painful as it was to watch at the time, seeing a mobile quarterback making throws and leading his team has to be appreciated by any knowledgeable fan.

Congratulations on your victory it was well earned.
