Would you say that if it had been Mettenberger or Rohan Davey or Tommy Hodson? How about JaMarcus Russell, Matt Mauck or Matt Flynn? Would you still be bitching about it?

You can take out Jefferson and put any of the QBs you named in your original post, and if they did the same exact thing Jordan Jefferson did, the'd all be the same to me. I've also, in the past, voiced my displeasure with Jeremy Hill being let back on the team. I don't think she should have either.
But what about that time you went bizarro and starting drinking and smoking? You wouldn't shave. You walked around with a dirty cape and dusty red boots. Jefferson's second chance could have been somewhere else, Jeremy Hill was on his second chance when he punched that guy in the parking lot. I don't see how it didn't violate his probation.
