I think this is a great thing. I can't wait to see how the spring turns out, should be a good one. I'm a little worried about bball after seeing the McNeese score, but I haven't seen them play yet so I have no clue just how good/bad they are playing right now.
I am an LSU fan, not only an LSU football fan. I love the university. I'm glad to see them do well in all sports. Now, let's go win another NC! :crystal:
<--- Likes the women's sports, too. Congrats to the soft roundballers. I was a little dissapointed when the women's basketball team lost to Maryland in the WNIT finals.
You're right! This is definitely the "golden age" of Tiger sports...damn it feels good to be a gangsta!
Well as you can see from the response - some care - some could care less - some are all around Tiger fans, win or not - some are fair weather fans of high profile sports and really don't get too excited about the other sports. Personally I have never been much of a basketball fan - mens, womens, college or pro, but I do enjoy seeing LSU's basketball teams compete and win (frankly about the only basketball I have ever watched). Despite our individual preferences, we all make up the LSU Nation. As for this old Tiger - it is always enjoyable to see the teams from LSU compete and it is always great to see them win. So yes, for me it is a great accomplishment and a wonderful complement to LSU, its students, players and fans of all sports. Geaux Tigers!!!
