Well, we experienced some bad times during the Curley Hallman era in the 90's, so I think we are well grounded as far as unrealistic expectations. Any team that makes it into the BCS is not an imposter and had better damn well be respected.
Couldn't agree more. All Ohio St. has heard for a year is that they're slow and nonathletic, SEC is superior, etc. They will definitely use this as motivation and be ready to play on 1/7. I don't think it will be a blowout at all.
Most teams that make it to the BCS aren't imposters. You however are forgetting about ND last year. :hihi:
I agree. Ohio State got humiliated by the SEC in the NC last year, and there is nothing else on the minds of their players than doing the same thing to LSU this year. Their players will be giving it %150 from now until the end of regulation in the NC to make sure that they beat LSU down so badly that no one will ever again bring up the ass beating they took by Florida last year. If LSU is able to survive Ohio State's onslaught, the game will turn into a major battle between two heavyweight combatants that are going to fight, struggle, and trade knock-out punches back and forth right down to the very end of regulation. It's going to be a great one.
Great forum....and glad I joined! Already have a bet with a co-worker....Bucks win, will get Gumbo for lunch! LSU wins...gets Wendy's (LOL-hey Columbus is the home of Wendy's! ) I have been to NO several times and each time, came away with new friends....Hell, even as a child and went to the Sugar Bowl with my family and saw the Bear take Woody and the Bucks to the woodshed! See you there!
Welcome to the forum. I am sure we will have our share of dumb posts. Just give us time. But thanks for the kind words.
Except for those Katt jackoffs, I dont know where those guys get off thinking they are kings of tailgating, lords of the forums, and queens of the ipod shows.
It's going to be a blast. I'm hoping Trindon and Williams see alot of plays. Stretch that defense and hester/scott up the middle.
LSU will more than likely dominate the statline in this game (like we did vs Tennessee). The question is do we allow yet again another team to "stay" in the game and keep it close in the 4th quarter (see Tennessee, Bama, Kentucky). Will we put this thing away or do we get another nail biter? We shall see. The speed and athleticism issue is readily apparent again this year. There are no Keiland Williams' or Trindon Holliday's or Glenn Dorsey's on OSU's team. They are a very basic offense and very basic defense. They are very well coached however. So the question is how will Tressel deal with it this time around? Interested to see the gameplan.
