Haven't we traveled well the times that we have been there? LSU vs Michigan State. It's an outstanding matchup. Scout and CBS show South Carolina and Alabama, respectively, being the SEC participants. Seriously, a 4 loss South Carolina? That's a TV ratings bonanza if I ever seen one. Get it right and pit these 2 teams together.
LSU will be playing Idaho State in the 1st Annual Mashed Potatoes Bowl... BTW...Idaho State is 10 point favorites.....
unless the cap one bowl has taken care of their field problems, i dont want them. there was no excuse for the kind of piss poor turf and field management they had last year.
A good football team can adapt to adverse field conditions!! I can't believe LSU is still whining about the field conditions!!
:geaux: Lighten up dude. You've got 50 post on this board and I'd bet not one of 'em has even been remotely positive. :rolleye33: You're on the fast track to "Ignore Button Land". :geaux:
I'd rather see a home game in Dallas at Jerruh's World. I know the CapOne is more money, but it's been a while since the Cotton came calling.
One would think you would want the Cotton Bowl. The Cotton had January 7th all to themselves... national audience for one game. January 1st, by contrast, has four midday bowl games all over-lapping with starts from 1 pm to 1:30 pm EST.
Look son..dont tell me to lighten up...i will post the way i see fit... btw...it was a joke...so who needs to lighten up? stay out of my way...if you dont like what i post..dont f*&ckin read it....
whining? im not blaming the loss on the conditions. im talking it was poor to the point it was a dangerous field. the poor management of the turf was directly responsible for a player being hurt the week before in another game, if i remember correctly. i would rather not have anyone seriously injured due to a poorly maintained field.
