based on the way our line performed this year i have no problem with anyone nit picking our recruiting this year in that area.

as for using the hester argument that rankings mean nothing, i think some of you are making that exception the rule. look at the recruiting rankings and then look at who performs the best on the field. better yet look at who is in the mnc game. they usually correlate pretty well.

Yes, but it was stated numerous times that 1A Louisiana football did not offer him enough competition and he was a likely bust candidate. So there wasn't really much to be surprised about when he came in and underperformed.

    thanks!

oh and back to the original question, would i want to play for these fans.

absolutely in a heartbeat. I don't care if LSU fans were in the stands with torches and pitchforks, i would want to play for LSU.

You weren't :), I cleared it. It's Christmas, forgiveness for everyone

I agree with you, I enjoy reading every opinion. What pisses me off is those who ridicule or disrespect posters who simply have a different opinion. This site does have a nice atmosphere but it's not as good now as it once was.

I haven't been around long enough to really know what it once was like, but I think it's great. Part of it's mission is a place to vent and a lot of the negativity is exactly that. Some of it is good opinion that we may not agree with, but for the most part the disagreement is very civil and people here respect the others even though they don't agree. There's a lot of honest discussion going on here.

I really like the rep system here because of the comments associated with it...they're like a quick PM method.

I'm probably being naive but I think most of the posters here are friends of sorts. That's why I get a thrill out of meeting you guys whenever you all come to the cafe and when I meet people at the tailgates.

We all have our own lives that are probably very different from each others' lives, and the common ground we have is when all these tangential lives intersect in person:thumb:.
