Would you rather have Beamer

:helmet:Va Tech just got closed out by powerful James Madison U. Beamer is what 1-23 against top ten teams and finds a way to choke like today as well.
Interesting how he is usually praised as a great coach and CLM is looked at as a poor one yet both at Ok St and LSU he wins little ones and many big ones. I would rather have Les than Frank.
Not that Miles is a great coach (he isn't) but he isn't as bad as portrayed in the national media.
Just a point about perceptions.

I've always thought Beamer was an overrated coach. Their offense is always in the bottom half of D1, his teams are wildly undisciplined and the whole "Beamer Ball" special teams prestige is largely a myth.

Against Boise, they blocked one punt when it didn't matter (20 seconds before halftime) and got no points out of it, but they also had a kick go out of bounds, missed a FG, had a punt blocked and gave up big return yards at the end of the game.

I'd much rather have Miles. He has two things Beamer doesn't have. First is a crystal football, second is integrity.

 

I test drove a 2011 model 335i Diesel the other day. Complete bad ass. You'd never even know it wasn't a gasoline engine. 40mpg and LOTS of power. Can't pull the trigger for 56k though.:grin:

 

Wow!! James Madison was a 33 point dog. That's going to be a tough one for Beamer to explain.

 

How much does this devalue Boise State's win. They have such a fraudlent schedule.
