Is there a snowball chance in hell that would ever happen? In light of the 20 players who were just caught stealing he is probably looking for a job next year.

I would love for him to be an assistant coach, I am just not sure about DC yet. He is probably the best recruiter in the country and while he may seem incompetent as a head coach, he is pretty good with the DL.

In what way? Seriously. I do think his position as a HC was premature but he's a recruiting machine, is a born and raised SEC guy, and his players LOVE the guy. USC likes to give a lot of credit to Norm Chow for the 2004 season but CEO was a HUGE contributor as well. I'd love to have him back at USC and I wouldn't say that about Chow.

He had no problem at USC. And he is supposed to be a great recruiter. What about D-line coach? Maybe he is just not HC material. I'm not hoping he would come here. Just wanted to get others opinion

So he would be a good D-line coach. I'm happy with the one we've got. But who knows what will happen with the coaching staff if CLM goes to UM and Nebraska gets Pelini.

well good ole Ed is from my hometown and I tailgated with his family yesterday in Oxford, and they all seem to be fully convinced he will be back next season.

we'll see, but I think he will be safe, also.
