Some of the old Tulane Alum here in town are disgusted by the fact that I support LSU. But I grew up on LSU football and went to 3 or 4 games a year even when I was a student at Tulane. It only takes a trip to the Superdome on Saturday afternoon to know it is not the same thing. I'll deal with CS later when he least expects it but for now, I respectfully request to remain part of the community in spite of these new allegations. :thumb:
I make games all over, this is not only Tulane. BOT.......Many coaches take jobs to pad their resume. Joe Rob left LSU last year to do just this. Many times it not its not about the money. A coach I know took a job when he had a buyout of $150K, he wanted a job so bad, he payed the buyout. The right job, the right fit, pay comes into play, but not the final item. Good coaches think about their families first. Krags wife loved eveything about the LSU job, many times wives come into play. Another coaching friend had a job at one of the Mississippi schools, his wife couldn't wait to get out, he was there one year. Many of the former LSU coaches that I know, all loved their time here and tell me they would like to coach here again. LSU is a special place.
Aww you know you can stick around. This was mainly to get that "other" guy all riled up. Of course there is that matter of you telling me "I will NOT ever win the lottery" I think I remember you saying something about certain things happen when you say they won't.
Like I said, many Head coaches don't make what LSU pays assts. LSU pays well, very well. Football Bowl Subdivision coaches salaries for 2010 - USATODAY.com Franks makes around $350K total.
I like this one, Tulane is 2-5, coach gone. Louisville is 2-4 their coach gets a seven-year contract. Guess thats just me.
