Look dimwit, girls Sports are terrible and they always will be. Sure it's a rule in baseball but guess what? They are smart enough to step on the damn plate so you never have to worry about it. Next you are going to tell me Geno whatever his name is should be considered a good basketball coach because that stable he has at uconn doesn't lose much. Pfft
Brewers OF called out for missing home plate on home run trot http://ftw.usatoday.com/2015/05/brewers-of-called-out-for-missing-home-plate-on-home-run-trot Brewers outfielder Khris Davis crushed a home run to right field in the bottom of the first inning to give Milwaukee a 1-0 lead over San Francisco Monday, but minutes after finishing his home run trot Davis was called out by home plate umpire Will Little for failing to touch home plate. Brewers manager Craig Counsell challenged the call and after a lengthy review, the call on the field was overturned and Davis was ruled to be safe. I couldn't find a definitive rule,.. I gave up pretty fast though. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/downloads/y2014/official_baseball_rules.pdf
Well first of all comparing MLB to college may be a problem but you can't even miss a bag in baseball.Only on appeal will it be an out though.
Gotta touch all the bases. Page 1 of the rule book. You can't run em in reverse order you can't go to second first. You cant go out the baseline. You're not supposed to be touched by a teammate until they cross home plate. Except for the lesbian locker room. Once a ball lands out of play its a dead ball. But I like the idea when playing at home the fans would try to get the ball back in okay on a homerun to throw the batter out.
Yeah in softball I thought. You gotta ask permission step off the rubber and throw to the base you appeal. Hadnt seen that happen in forever. Now in baseball they just review everything.
See, dork, even when it seems it happened it really didn't. Real men don't coach girls Sports. Those are the guys that never quite measured up.
