Kerry Collins did take a team to the Super Bowl. All the other are sucky. Though I don't think much was really ever thought of Marques Tuiasosopo.
Lived in the Bay Area for 5 years. Heard enough. :hihi: And right now, Kerry Collins ranks down there.
Carr continues to prove he's deserving of this title: He dressed for the game, but had a sore booboo (back, allegedly.) SO, they started VINNIE TESTAVERDE, who they signed on WEDNESDAY. Five days ago, he was playing Madden '08. Next thing, he's starting ahead of Carr.
I don't know if anyone has watched the Vikes yet this year, but it's Tavaris Jackson, easily. like he shouldn't even be on a roster at all, much less a starter. he didn't even complete a pass to a receiver until the 3rd quarter against a suspect Cowboys secondary.
Of course Carr is still in the lead, but some guys are really bringing their F games to compete. Alex Smith and Steve McNair are doing all they can to show how bad you can be but still get massive contracts. I don't think they're as Carr-inspired as some guys, as McNair isn't a coward. If Vince Radio Young keeps developing like he has this season, he'll end up on this list as well.
I never understood all the hype with this guy. He is not a NFL QB. You can't win in the NFL with your QB averaging 100 yds per game through the air. And you would think that Tennessee of all teams would not have taken this guy in the draft. They suffered through the McNair years and then they get a worse version of him in VY. Some teams just don't get it.
whoever the patriots back up is up there. the dude got yanked in mop up duty. has that ever happened?
That would be back-up USC QB Matt Cassell, as I recall. I think this may have happened with the Texans with Tony Banks. Holy crap, Tony Banks...
"James Black, NFL Editor for Yahoo! Sports, wrote that Tim Couch might be the one person preventing us from deeming David Carr as the worst overall No. 1 draft choice among quarterbacks since the AFL/NFL merger in 1970." ...and all along I thought it was Ryan Leaf!!!
