This was by far the worst officiated Super Bowl i've ever seen. How Harrison was not thrown out of the game for punching a player on the ground then letting him up to only knock him down is beyond me. By not reviewing the incomplete pass at the end by Warner only shows me the Refs wanted the Steelers to win. If i was the coach for Arizona I would have told my team to not go on the field for the last play until they review it. That was total BULL****! The referees in football, both college and pros, are getting worse. I watch football to see players decide a game, not dumb phuck refs.
The roughing the passer call was horrible! Even the running into the holder was a bad call. Not to mention that Pitt had ONLY 2 going into the end of the 3rd quarter. And yes the fumble at the end SHOULD have been reviewed.
I'm still pissed as hell about this game. And I don't give two sh!ts about either team. I just HATE officials. :cuss::angryfire:cuss::angryfire
I thought the roughing the passer was BS. Roughing the holder was BS. They should've reviewed the fumble at the end (seems they reviewed damn near every other play, why not that one). They missed numerouse holding calls. I do find it funny that this is the second consecutive Superbowl win for the Steelers in which bad officiating benefited them.
And i love when they asked Tomlin in the PC about the officiating. He said he hasn't talked about the refs all year and he's not gonna start now. Well of course you're not genius! They helped you win the game.
No catch... http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/j/NBCSpor...owl2half/ss-090201-superbowl-jc-4.ss_full.jpg Game would have probably gone to OT.
Great shot, but unfortunately not the whole story. If we had video from that angle, it would be golden.
his right foot was down earlier. the facemask near the sidelines was weak as well, the runner pushes the defenders head back by pushing the facemask, but the call goes against the defense every single time.
