I still stand by it but there is no burst. hes at full speed the second he hit the hole. incredible. the youtube video doesnt quite do it justice but its good enough. i remember seeing the pellets on the new turf flying all over when he put out his landing gear to slow down once he scored. that run was a back-breaker for the pigs. Wow. I didn't realize Jamaal Charles of Texas, Herschel Walker of Georgia, and Bo Jackson of Auburn were that fast. Holy crap!!!! Now I did know that Rocket Ismail and Deion Sanders were that fast, and they are two of the greatest and most exciting players I've ever seen in my life when it comes to being a speedster with natural and physical ability as a football player. But as for Trindon Holliday, he just doesn't "have it" when it comes to football. He has no potential to be the next Jamaal Charles, Hershel Walker, Bo Jackson, Rocket Ismail or Deion Sanders. However, look at those highlight clips of Russell Shepard, the verbal commitment we have for the 2009 class -- YouTube - Russell Shepard Highlight Video I honestly believe he has what it takes to be the next Rocket Ismail or Deion Sanders type.
This well help you out: Say a girl ran a 100-meter-yard-dash in 10.00 seconds, beating Holliday's personal best of 10.02. Would that mean she'd be great at football? You do realize that if Holliday was one the level of Jamaal Charles, Hershel Walker, Bo Jackson, Rocket Ismail or Deion Sanders... he'd see the field a hell of a lot more than he does, right?
this thread was about recognizing the talent of trindon's speed, not finding a way to turn it into a negative, which somehow in some way you did. just because trindon isnt an every down back or even a running back for that matter, i find it ridiculous to even make the slightest comparison to herschel walker or anyone else. hes a return guy with blazing speed. sit back and enjoy it. no one said he was anything different or felt the need to demean him in some strange comparison. you're a bit off. as usual. is trindon faster than everyone else listed above that played football? the simple answer is yes. deal with it. that was the point.
Fine, I see your point. If a guy on the LSU team got named to the People magazine's Most Beautiful Person list, that is something we should sit back and enjoy. I can't dispute that.
thats your reply? really? this was about the fastest player ever on a football field. nothing more, dude. how you turned it into something completely different is a testament to your drugs. good job man, just share.
Trindon's potential as a returner has been severely hampered by Paveto's horrible special teams coaching... now that he has been moved to defense, maybe the Tigers will actually get some returns going...
