What a start so far by St. Louis. Verlander is out and Anthony Reyes is enjoying pitching with a 6 run lead.... Im just afraid that the Cardinals are scoring all of their runs tonight and won't have enough offense left for the rest of the series.

I'm sure if the Cardinals win it all, they can thank every MLB team for letting them win. Teams on paper do not always beat teams on the field. If any other team was deserving of being there, they should have done something about it like win. Period.
It basically comes down to who is playing best in October....and anybody can win, as we have seen recently with wild card teams doing so well. If Scott Rolen and Jim Edmonds continue to hit like they did in game 1, the Tigers will NOT win this series. But that's a huge IF. I think this one is going 7.
