what are you talking about? we are talking in sports terms not afghanistan. relative to sports dude. no ones embarrassed to walk out in public. perception of sports media and its ilk is a blow to LSUs image because of the keystone cops episode II. thats all everyone is saying. does this really need to be explained on a sports message board. its important to you thats why you're here. not relative to someone with cancer. but this isnt an oncology or sports is irrelevant board.
Oh yeah? It could get MUCH worse... I was pleased with the performance of the players in the back half of that game. To come away with a win and enjoying the spoils of victory and in the end we were in a position to achieve victory and for that I'm enjoying the time leading up to that victory and the time after, celebrating with my friends and family.
incorrect. i'm here because i like talking about this stuff and i don't happen to live anywhere near lsu fans in any numbers. but their respect for me is not contingent on how lsu did on saturday, nor is my personal self esteem. so this ridiculous notion that the sports world is laughing at lsu is - ridiculous. dudes on tv say some crap to be funny and sell cialis and then they instantly stop thinking about lsu and start thinking about whatever it is they're doing in their LIFE. do you really care if some random person sees your lsu hat/tshirt/bumpersticker and says something to you about les miles being an idiot? don't you just laugh a bit, shake your head, and maybe even talk a little football with them? i guess i still don't understand how any of this would be "embarrassing" to a person who was not directly involved in the game professionally or athletically. there's like 150 people on the entire planet who should even consider being embarrassed by saturday night. everyone else should find it funny, interesting to read about, then enjoy the day and look forward to the next game. shouldn't they?
I honestly wasnt that angry last night...cause it was only a matter of time before Les inability to make the right choice reared its ugly head yet again. Its like a kid reaching for the hot pot on the stove...sometimes talking doesnt help and you just have to let them grab it and see for themselves.
honestly, i like miles and i don't want him fired but I agree with you here. Look at the defense, as far as i know, he doesn't interfere and let's chavis do his thing. We need to fire Crowton, get someone else in there and let that OC do his thing. I do think Miles wants to do this and that Crowton is gone after the season.
It is what it is. We're stuck with the stupidest head coach in any organsized sport with arguably the most talent of any college football team. It will be wasted talent until he is fired and quits or bolts for another team. It is what it is.
The game that cured me of getting too hyped up was the Jamie Howard Pick Six hullabaloo at Jordan Hare. I actually thought I was gonna lose my mind after that fiasco. Since then, I don't get as nearly as troubled re: ANY sports.
