None of them really stopped him. We just didn't run him as much in the first three games as we have the last three or so. He only had about 17-18 carries in each game vs MSU and Clemson. Against Kentucky he had 28 carries for 198 yds. Against Arkansas it was 25 carries for 188. South Carolina it was 25 carries for 176. He's just developed into more of a focal point of the rushing offense the last 4 games compared to the earlier ones. Plus, we played serious slow down ball in the game against MSU the second half. That one was an anomaly where we got very conservative and bled the clock inside 5 seconds almost every play. Odd to say the least. At any rate, I don't think either of them did anything special. It was a combo of things that slowed down our offense in both games. Against Clemson, it was penalties and turnovers. Against MSU it was the first road game and we were rather conservative. In both he simply wasn't asked to do as much.
