    yes (to an extent).

on LSU's webite, there is a "marketplace". Season ticket holders sell their tickets to other fans at face value. LSU makes like 2 bucks off them (the buyer), you print your tickets from there, and then go to the game.

this is where I buy most of my baseball tickets.

Yes but at during the season ANYONE can buy tickets to a game.

For LSU to ONLY sell ticket booklets to season ticket holders is what is bredding this.

The more I look at it I think that these guys are local brokers and my anger is starting to turn from season ticket holders to LSU for not putting an end to this.

I am seriously about to go on ebay and find every single football ticket being auctioned (tickets they have not even gotten yet) and start publicly letting everyone know the operation that LSU seems to be allowing.

It does not seem like it would be hard for a university to take a stand and stop the brokers. It is these brokers that make it impossible for the everyday fan to sit at the National Championship and other post season/ bowl games!

Its not like there is a lack of TAF memebers or LSU fans that dont get season tickets because of these *******s.

I have not heard back from either the ticket office or the ebay sellers, but I'm not holding my breathe either.

I just went and checked ebay and there is only one auction left. The one provided by sectix.

The other 2 sellers pulled down their auctions.

This is exactly how Skip envisioned it. A bunch of wine and cheese fat cats who are there to see and be seen, but could really care less about LSU sports. Meanwhile the real fans are left at home looking at ebay and wondering how things got this way. I've been going to LSU football games since the 70's and have been a season ticket holder since I moved back to Louisiana in '91. My how Tiger stadium has changed during those years and I'm not talking about the expansion either. Even during close SEC games the stadium clears early in the 4th. I've even seen fans leaving the game asking who won. Don't be even slightly surprised when the new Alex Box gets the same makeover, it's exactly what Bertman wanted. Hopefully the teams will continue to win and those that truly bleed purple and gold will be able to see the games on tv. JMO

Free Enterprise is alive and well. I buy football season tix every year off of Ebay. I live about 1000 miles away from Baton Rouge and can only make 3-4 games a year. I sell the rest. I don't think this makes me less of a fan. I have been an LSU fan for 33 years and also an alumni.

The tix I sell usually sell for big bucks because someone is willing to pay it. The fact that this is a problem means there is a lot of success in athletics at LSU. If LSU won 4 games a year, you wouldn't see tix going for big bucks

But if LSU is ONLY selling to Season Ticket Holders, how in the hell are brokers getting their hands on them.

And you said you buy them off Ebay in the first place, whouldnt you rather buy them from LSU instead of a broker paying 4 times as much?

If that is the case and this is LSU doing and they are not willing to step up and change it, they are about to get one pissed off coonass thorn in their side.

Just by sending 2 questions to to ebay sellers, it made them pull down their auctions, we gotta start somewhere and right here seems like a pretty damn good spot!
