Anybody watching the ND / Tenn game. The announcers are toting Candace Parker's ability. Watch her on defense. It's non existent. She accentuates on her size and athletism. First draft choice. Ha. Take her.
she does have almost 20 pts and it's not even half.. i agree she don't play great defense, but outside of 3-4 NBA stars, find me a star that does.
On a different note. Ucon and Rutgers for the final 4 spot in their division. Did you notice, Rutgers doesn't have nappy heads anymore... . Wonder why? It will be a good game. Uconn seems special this year. They will be tough to beat.
It will be a real tough game. Okie, you'd be proud to know that the Ok State fans were easily the classiest in the Arena with UNC a close 2nd. Louisville were a distant last. They were real obnoxious. We've met a lot of real good people here.
thanks. i appreciate that. at brunch this morning, my parents greeted me with congrats for the ladies and were very gracious. my mother was very embarassed by riley's behavior. my bitch sister on the other hand, walked in, looked at me and said only half joking "why did we invite her?" and a couple of other comments. unfortunately, all teams have a few of "those" fans. :hihi: i just smiled sweetly and said "you had a bit too much of us tigers the past couple of days?" and left it at that. she shut up.
from what I saw, it seemed Ok St. was just happy to be there. Correct me if I am wrong, but they still in the building stages of their program? Their coach is a good one. Seems real, real passionate about his kids. Almost went to tears talking about the fight the team played with all year. I think Van will be at LSU for his entire contract (6 years), but an early guy to look at for his vacant position would be that guy.
they should be. two years ago they were 0-16 in conference play. they had to move up just to get to the cellar. the turn around was pretty amazing for how well they did this year. goodenough(or however you spell it, i know thats how its pronounced) the previous coach just ran the program into the ground. couldnt coach and not much better at recruiting. this is budke's second year at osu. he was at la tech before osu.
he's a good one. There is a lot of Les Miles in him. You can pretty clearly see he is a really good person.
