Not crazy at all, in fact I'd say it is probably closer to normal. I as well as most of the guys I served with got a real rush out of it. I don't know, maybe it is a pride thing, or just a sense of, hell I don't know what it is. I just know you had better "want" to be there, otherwise there is a really good chance you won't like the way you leave the front line.
Guess I just need to shut up and be thankful there are people like you. One of my best friends is the same way. Damn grunt seved 2 in Afghanistan 2 in Iraq, (2 of those were voluntary) came home joined the FW Police dept, got into the gang unit, almost went to work for blackwater, then was an undercover narco. Straight up action junkie. And still talks about wanting to join the French Foreign Legion.
They're getting shot at. I don't care what your title is. If you're getting shot at, you're in combat.
Shane I find that we are agreeing too much, I think you need to call me a hippie stoner fag or something, and me lash back with some ridiculous insult, this just doesn't feel right.
Ok sparky, i will break this down romper room style for you. Yes, there are people with lady parts that currently get shot at and sometimes even hit. This currently happens "sometimes" New rule says gi jane can now go infantry and get shot at all the time
I am aware of what the rule says. I do not need someone to break it down. I was pointing out how stupid it was to have a need to discuss the semantics of it.
What percentage of these women who want front line action are lesbians? I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this. I thought men fought wars so women and children weren't exposed to it.
