His offense? He asked her to move her Porsche. http://www.rawstory.com/2017/09/nas...move-her-porsche-then-left-him-to-die-police/ I'm so certain that at the moment he heard the shot he thought how grateful he was to be living in a country with such easy gun ownership. But, hey... he was homeless and not entitled to even a thought.
Not fake news, but notice how the article obfuscates the full story. You have to go a few paragraphs in to find I'm not saying that justifies the man's death, but it perhaps justifies that the woman may have felt she was in danger. But the headline - and apparently @Rex - would have you believe what happened was,"Hey privIleged lady, move your fancy ca - BANG!"
be fair, it was her father, a lawyer, who wasn't there, who said the homeless guy threatened her. What would you expect a lawyer to say? "The two then got into a loud argument with each other, and then Quackenbush allegedly exited the vehicle holding a gun that she then used to shoot Melton twice, leaving him with a wounded abdomen. Police say Quackenbush then got back into her car and fled the scene". If she felt threatened, why didn't she drive away? "They were arguing, she got out of the car and shot him",.. she has been charged with attempted murder. I believe in gun rights, but when there is a shooting, not every time is the shooter a hero. She, "then got back in the car and fled the scene".
