You ass what if the Supreme Court ignored the constitution and voted abortion as a right for women, which they did. What if your beloved Supreme Court voted to ban citizens from arming themselves would that be OK?
I think Jones will win this one, but will be out at the next one. It’s interesting to me, but in the last 13 months, three of the worst candidates to ever run, have been in play. (Trump, Clinton, Moore) OBTW, forget everything else, riding a damn horse to the voting place. RYSM? Something about “ . . . And the horse he rode in on!”
On an equally laughable vein... No Muslim can be elected to congress according to the Moore camp because... https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2017/12/12/politics/tapper-moore-interview/index.html
Well it looks like Moore lost......as he should have. He was an execrable candidate and person. If the republicans had run a half way decent person the would have won going away. This is on Roy Moore, Steve Bannon and Donald Trump.
All partisanship aside, this says a lot about a shift in public attitude AWAY from party ideology at all costs over decency. Neither party can hitch their wagon to candidates who are way out in moral left field and are ostensobly immune to moral scrutiny and expect to win anaway. That message was sent to the Democrats when Hillary was defeated and it was sent to the Republicans last night. Trump and Bannon types are in trouble...even in that ultra conservative Alabama district, RIGHT stands for more than an adjective describing political inclination.
Not sure how you say its on Trump. He didn't actually support this guy until the end and supported his opponent in the primary. Trump's support appeared to be for the seat itself, not necessarily Moore. He wanted to keep it Republican because of the balance of the Senate.
True, but Trump and Moore are like twin brothers maturity wise. He can't distance himself much from Moore. The GOP dodged a real bullet last night.
