Nah would rather not waste my time would rather hit my distracters with a quick pic, gets the point home without long winded BS.
Without Judaism there is no Christianity nor is there Islam. Which is kind of ironic considering the ancestors of the peoples who currently populate Iran, the Persians, pretty much saved Judaism from being wiped off the map. If not for Cyrus the Great does the Belshazzar story happen at all? Cyrus freed the Jews, then paid for their temple to be rebuilt. It makes me wonder what happens had there not been a Cyrus, king of the universe. Of course at the time Babylonians worshiped Marduk and other gods, and the Persians worshiped Ahura Mazda I think along with other gods. It was around this time that the Israelites gave up worshiping other gods and went back to the idea of the covenant established by Abraham. I'll defer to others on the New Testament I like the Old Testament much more as a story. That god was a bad ass and didn't take any shit and straight up kilt mother fuckers. Plus all the historical stuff is much more fascinating.
Hmmm, maybe there is an illustration somewhere Edit: couldn't find one that shows him actually freeing the Jews but there are plenty of accounts including the Bible that talk about Cyrus freeing them and letting them return to Jerusalem and paying for their temple to be rebuilt.
