dallas lands pacman for a 4th round pick this year and a pick next year (if he is reinstated and plays in 2008). not bad. this has as much impact as anyone in the draft potentially. low risk/high reward
If you consider bringing a gang-banger into your locker room low risk, well, OK, I guess. Of course, in Dallas, Pacman might be just another colorful character.
Obviously, this is big-time in the news up here. The other Cowboys aren't that worried about him being here, and let's face it, the 'Boys NEED help in the secondary--big time. Most of the guys on the team now stay pretty clean; it's not like it was in the '90's, that's for sure. TO has even come around since Parcells left. Romo said yesterday that there were plenty of strong personalities in the locker room to keep Pacman in check. Guys like Bradie James, Demarcus Ware, and Marcus Spears are locker room leaders.
what does that even mean? low financial risk, not criminal risk in the locker room. im certain he wont be attacking brady james. maybe tony r-homo.
Pacman Jones is a blight on the NFL. The fact that Dallas and Jerry Jones insulted to NFL and the Commish for dealing with a banned player is criminal. The guy should not have been able to have anything to do with any aspect of the NFL until his suspension was lifted. I would love for the commish to slap Jerry Jones on that.
What it means is that the guy has a criminal background that would make him hands-off in most professions. Maybe he won't be beating up his teammates, but when a person has that complete lack of character, lack of respect for authority, call it what you will, its bound to manifest itself in other ways that won't be good for the team. No different from having a Lawrence Phillips or Maurice Clarett on your team. http://bumpshack.com/2007/03/02/pacman-jones-criminal-record/
