Don't know, but no one seems to care. Mexican Restaurant at North Gate. Also, JalenMills @Jmills_LSU Just received a bomb threat..and coach moffit said "if we blow up at least we will be swole"..lol he too real!!!
Friday there was one on University of Texas' campus and another on North Dakota State's campus. Now LSU. http://content.usatoday.com/communi...ncy-threat-evacatuion/70000347/1#.UFdmpI2PV8E
We all got a text message at 11:30 saying to evacuate campus in an orderly fashion. No other explanation and we all suspect it was a copycat from the UT thing.
What a disaster. An evacuation of 30,000 people is ordered, yet it takes them hours to move everyone off campus. Seems like a) a purpose-defeating exercise, and b) a serious vulnerability to those taking notes. Based on the typical responses to these things, couldn't someone theoretically cause the same place to evacuate everyday? Or maybe cause an evacuation at a different place everyday? And if someone actually planted a bomb somewhere, why would they call you and tell you about it first? Would it not be more effective to catch everyone by surprise? It just seems odd that all it takes to make a heavily-populated place evacuate is a simple anonymous phone call.
All very true. I was at a high school once and we had several within a couple of weeks. Authorities had a hard time tracing because a cell phone with no account can still be used to dial 911.
I don't see why people even take bomb threats seriously. If someone really went through all the trouble to plant a bomb to kill as many people as possible, are they really going to phone it in and give everyone a head's up?
Perhaps, if the campus needs to be evacuated, folks should not be allowed to leave in their cars? They could have walked off campus much quicker. On 9/11, how many people walked out of Manhattan?
