OK. But as the starter of this thread, I must tell you that the intention of this thread is to talk about how it affects recruits. I was serious when I asked if it is possible for a recruit to wait and see past 2-7. I really don't know. I realize that for fans, it is a wait and see situation. But that's not why I asked. Also, I don't WANT anything bad to happen to USC. That's not what I meant by this thread at all.
You so funny tiga Yes, the wait and see was regarding any potential outcome/sanctions against SC at least from my perspective. The most damage that is being done as far as recruiting goes is like tiga said, what opposing coaches and high school coaches are whispering in their ears. The comments I read about what Broderick Green's coach was telling him were completely against regulations at worst and totally unethical at best. One should wonder why this story got stirred up at this time when LOI day is so close. There is nothing new to report at this point other than a judge has requested tapes if they exist and as yet, nobody has produced any nor do we know what may or may not be on them. Nothing will be determined prior to LOI so a recruit has to base decisions on something else. And Fishhead, your comments were not taken the wrong way at all. Just about any top 10 program should expect a spotlight and some negative press from time to time. Right now happens to be our turn in the barrel............so to speak. See ya'll in January.
